Eli Lilly and Company announced a $3.5 billion manufacturing complex in Lehigh Valley, the largest economic development project in the region's history and the largest life sciences investment in Pennsylvania. The record investment was announced by Lilly CEO David Ricks and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro before a crowd of about 200 local and regional government, company, education, and community leaders. The announcement was held on January 30, 2026 at Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown, Pa.
