Lehigh Valley’s growing economy reached new heights in 2025, ranking as the #1 mid-sized region in the U.S. for economic development.

More than 160 companies and organizations supported LVEDC’s strategies to market the Lehigh Valley’s economic assets and promote the region to attract and retain employers and the talent they need to be successful. Our partners contributed almost $955,000 in sponsorship and investment to support LVEDC in 2025. We are grateful to all LVEDC investors for their confidence and partnership in the region’s economic development coalition.

The guide provides a clear visual representation of career opportunities in the region and a basis for career exploration. The occupations listed are the most common to appear in Lehigh Valley job postings, employ at least 95 people, and/or were suggested for inclusion by local employers.
